In the area of Alyko there is one of the densest and largest in the area of cedar trees forest of Greece.
Its area exceeds 800 acres and the visitor has the opportunity to see cedar trees, hedges, heathers, many wildflowers and thyme.
The age of the trees is estimated to be over 300 years old and reach 6 meters in height at some of them.
Alyko’s cedar tree forest is a wildlife sanctuary.
