The village of Kaloxylos is located in the basin of Tragaia, 16 km east of Naxos Town.
The graphical houses of the residents of Kaloxylos are built in a verdant area full of plane trees, oak trees and fruit trees.
The attention of the visitor will pull the dozens of flowers in the gardens and courtyards of the houses.
History and Monuments:
The inhabitants of Kaloxylos were engaged in agriculture and the production of olive oil.
At the entrance of the village there is the church of Aghia Triada, while in the wider area there are many Byzantine chapels. They distinguish those of Panagia Damniotissa and Aghios Ioannis the Theologian.
In the center of the village there is the restored electric plant that can be visited but also the private folklore museum.

By private car or motorcycle, you can reach the following routes:
- Chora – Galanado – Sagri – Halki – Kaloxylos
- Chora – Potamia – Chemararos / Tsikalarios – Chalki – Kaloxylos
